First of all, there’s no such thing as a “knife-free” sandwich. A knife is only one tool for cutting bread. And for those who have trouble using one, we have a knife-free method for making sandwiches.
The best way to make sandwich without a knife is to have a sharp knife, cut bread in half and place it on the work surface. With a sharp knife, you can cut bread, tomato, cheese, etc. by simply pressing down firmly with your hand or the blade edge on the work surface. The sandwich can then be assembled by simply sandwiching the meat or cheese in between two halves of the bread. You may even want to press down on the top piece of bread to help make it fit more tightly.
A knife is good to cut tomatoes and lettuce because these vegetables are usually thin in thickness. It is also good to cut cheese, meats, etc., so that you can avoid cutting your fingers.
If you don’t have a sharp knife, then cut bread in half first. Then spread one side of the bread with mustard or butter (for sandwiches with ham or cheese), then add a slice of meat, cheese, tomato or whatever you like. After that, put the other half of the bread on top of the meat, cheese, tomato or whatever you like, and press them down firmly. This way, you will get a sandwich without any trouble.
