List of occasional teachers at term – Internal
posting DUTIES:
Under the collective agreement in effect for supply teachers – Article BB4 – Hiring practices, the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), maintains a list of supply teachers long-term.
Mandatory conditions (Article BB4.2):
1) Hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCTE) card;
2) Be a member of the short-term substitute teaching staff of the CECCE.
The CECCE will communicate with the alternates who have answered the posting pre-selection questions adequately.
If you meet the criteria mentioned above, the Human Resources Department will contact you to invite you to the selection process.
The Human Resources Department will hold regular selection processes during the school year, when a sufficient number of candidates allows it.
Only those who have passed the selection process will have their names added to the CECCE’s list of long-term occasional teachers.

REQUIREMENT(S):
Under Section 24(1) of the Ontario Human Rights Code, the CECCE has the right to give employment preference to French-speaking Roman Catholic applicants.
