The European Taekwondo Championships & the Para-European Taekwondo Championships will take place between the 19th and 22nd May 2022 and see the best athletes from across the continent go head-to-head on UK soil for the first time since the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Expect the intensity level to be raised with Paris 2024 Olympic places on the line, as well as the chance to be crowned European Champion.

Manchester is expected to be especially busy over the weekend of Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May with a number of high-profile sporting events taking place in addition to the European Taekwondo Championships.
Spectators are advised to expect possible road closures and increased demand for public transport during this period. Please leave plenty of time to make your journey to the Manchester Regional Arena so that you can take your seats for the start of your chosen session and not miss any of the action.
If you are attending the European Taekwondo Championships for Sessions 7 and 8 on Sunday 22nd May please take note that the campus will be especially busy from as early as 12 noon as Manchester City will be playing at home against Aston Villa at this time.
We encourage spectators to make the best use of public transport links to the Manchester Regional Arena. The Etihad Campus Metrolink tram stop is adjacent to the arena where the event takes place.
Thursday 19th to Saturday 21 May – spectators are advised to use the Blue car park at the Etihad Campus, normal parking rules apply.
Sunday 22 May – Spectator parking will be available at the National Cycling Centre (postcode M11 4TE) a short walk from the event venue. Parking is limited and on a first come first served basis. Your event ticket will be required at the gate to gain entry.
