The No. 1 e-commerce site for literally everything, Amazon is a good place to find quality clothing and shoes at low prices. Prime members get free two-day shipping on eligible items, plus unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video (full list of benefits). Other perks include early access to sales, which means you can snag great deals for Mother’s Day or Black Friday even if you don’t want them before everyone else does. However, Amazon Prime isn’t as much a clothing shopper’s paradise as it once was. Though there are still some great deals to be had (especially in books), it’s no longer where most people go first when they think clothing store. That said, reviews are generally high and shipping is fast.
Target
When shopping for kid’s clothing, your best bet is to head to a local retailer where you can pick up some outfits in person. However, that means you have to run from store to store looking for what you want. A great alternative is to check out retail sites online instead. In fact, doing so can actually be more convenient than finding clothes in stores. If nothing else, it saves you from running around town and dealing with kids who have minds of their own—not that that’s necessarily a bad thing if you have time on your hands. Not only do they provide a good selection of quality clothes, but they also have an easy-to-use site where you can find whatever you’re looking for quickly and efficiently. Their prices are fair, their customer service is decent, and their shipping fees are very reasonable. It’s hard to get any better than that for online shopping for kids clothes, especially when taking everything else into consideration (i.e., quality, price range). There’s really no reason not to check out Gap Kids if you want to buy some new clothes for your child or grandchild.
Old Navy

Carter’s
Carters is one of my favorite kid clothing stores. They always have so many cute clothes at great prices and all their stuff is really durable. I love that they have an app where you can get a text when new stuff comes in, and they’ll email you if there’s something your kids are asking for. You can also go online and look at photos, which is nice because sometimes it’s hard to tell if things are going to match in person! Some people complain about shipping costs, but I’ve only had one order that was more than $5, but it was totally worth it. Overall, very highly recommended. My kids are both still wearing some Carter’s stuff from when they were babies!
Zulily
It offers children’s clothing, accessories and home goods at deep discounts. One drawback is that items sell out quickly; it’s best to sign up for email notifications. Zulily accepts returns within 90 days of purchase, with a restocking fee. When you do shop, use their shop by size feature to easily find clothes that will fit your child now and in future years. Skip Kohl’s: This nationwide retailer recently expanded its children’s department but still has only limited offerings. When we shopped there earlier in 2014, several tops we wanted were sold out online, although shipping was free on orders over $75. Kohl’s accepts returns within 90 days or within 30 days if you have a store credit card.
