One day, during a school field trip to a laboratory, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider. He soon realized that the spider bite had a unique effect on him. On his way home, he passed through an unfamiliar slum in the city where he was harassed by an unsavory mob. Pushing the members of these people aside with ease, Peter was shocked by his own strength. While fleeing from the gang, he walked toward a speeding car. To avoid it, he jumped 9 meters and stuck to the wall with his fingertips. However, Peter did not immediately think of a career as a superhero. First, he used his powers to earn money in battles. His special Spider-Man suit and his name were only meant to attract attention, because Spider-Man sounds more exciting than Peter Parker. He also wished to remain anonymous. He didn’t want his aunt and uncle to find out.
Due to his many battles won, Spider-Man grew into a minor celebrity. He even appeared on a television show. But after the shooting, he allowed a thief to flee the TV studio and made no attempt to stop him as he didn’t think it was his problem. Peter immediately forgot about the incident. A few days later, when Peter came home, he was told that his Uncle Ben had been murdered by a mugger. A police officer told him that the robber was surrounded by police in an abandoned warehouse. Peter immediately went to the shed eager for revenge. In the shed he was able to catch the robber as Spider-Man. He was shocked to discover that it was the same robber he had let out a few days earlier. He realized that if he had behaved more responsibly then his uncle might still have been alive.
