The Week 15 NFL weather forecast doesn’t look terrible, but… Overall, there’s a fair amount of mild wind and rain (and maybe even a little snow in one spot) — all of which is more than manageable for fantasy football owners. But there’s always the chance things take a turn for the worse before the weekend. RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth is here to help us break down the weather updates you need to know ahead of your start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

NFL Week 15 weather updates

Raiders @ Browns. Not only is this game heavily affected by COVID and injuries, but it could see rain to go along with 10-plus-mph winds. Given the sad state of Cleveland’s passing game, even the moderate threat of some ugly weather is enough to bench borderline players and elevate the D/STs. (Update: Despite this game being moved to Monday, the forecast calls for similar winds. However, there’s no threat of precipitation.)
WEEK 15 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo
Washington @ Eagles. This coud be one of the windiest games of the week, but gusts are only expected to hit 15-18 mph, so there’s no reason to bench any players specifically because of the weather. If you’re overly worried in this must-win week, you might want to avoid the kickers, but even that isn’t completely necessary. (Update: With this game being moved to Tuesday, there’s no threat of high winds.)
WEEK 15 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide Receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Cowboys @ Giants. The forecast here is very similar to the Washington-Philadelphia game (winds around 15 mph), so, again, only the kickers are a real worry barring a turn for the worse.

Jets @ Dolphins. There’s a decent chance this game sees some rain, but it’s still unclear just how heavy or consistent it will be. For now, it doesn’t look too threatening, so don’t worry about any Jets or Dolphins you were planning to start. (Update: Rain could be strong in spurts, causing a little more worry.)
WEEK 15 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide Receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Texans @ Jaguars. Like Jets-Dolphins, this game figures to see some rain. Considering very few players in either teams’ passing games will be started, the weather shouldn’t have a huge effect on start ’em, sit ’em decisions. Brandin Cooks is still in play, but that’s about it. (Update: It looks like the rain will be stronger for short stretches, having a little bigger effect on this game.)
MORE WEEK 15 DFS: Best stacks | Best values | Lineup builder
Panthers @ Bills. Freezing temps, slight chance of precipitation, winds around 10-15 mph — sounds about right for football in Buffalo in December. Overall, this weather is manageable for Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Dawson Knox, but it’s somewhat worrisome for every other passer/receiver. D.J. Moore is still a fringe starter, but be careful with everyone else.
