Covid-19 infections across the UK are on the rise with the increase attributed to micron variants BA.4 and BA.5 and the picture across the county shows some areas recording high rates while others are barely registering in latest figures.

In Lancashire, both Broughton and Wychnor and Ingol are recording the highest rates up to June 12 while some areas like Coppull and Rishton have rates so low they’re barely registering. In areas with fewer than three cases, data is not shown to protect the privacy of those who have tested positive
